Vertical and horizontal circulation of theSalt Lake City Vertical circulation:
There is a vertical circulation both outside and inside of the Salt Lake City. We can see outside stairs and ramps that connect differents levels of the ground and levels of building entrance.
Inside of Salt Lake City also there is many stairs that connect differents levels of this big building, another form of vertical circulation that we can see in the picture are lifts.
Horizontal circulation:
Horizontal circulation both outside and inside of the Salt Lake City, is very complex. Outside of building there is an interesting system of footbridge, route path and sidewalk that a wide circulation throughout the area outside the building.
Horizontal circulation inside of Salt Lake City, is a wide circulation system that allows a comfortable movement in all areas of the library.
Salt Lake City has an interesting system of circulation that combines vertical and horizontal circulation, both inside and outside the building.
Approach:
Oblique and spiral approaches are the more interesting perspective of this building that allowing the three-dimensional view of the building and its lateral perspective.
One side of the building, let’s see a frontal approach of the church that is in front, through the galleries that form the ramp. This building is a wonderful example of the different horizontal and vertical circulation that we know
